What a busy and incredibly productive day today! And so much going on even after I got home... I can't believe Buffy is over. It's over. Gone. No more. And the end was amazing! At least 24 will be back next season. I was kind of distracted for the last 10 minutes of it, thought it would just be wrap-up stuff, but NO ... the president was smeared with something RIGHT at the end. The final shot was him seeing the white stuff on his hand and then passing out. It looked like they wanted us to think it's anthrax, but it doesn't work that fast. Nice little addition in this last episode of the season; there is a new bad guy to carry us on to next season, and a new crisis already, sooo soon after the last one was averted. And that was actually a two-in-one; the bomb, then the retaliation, both had to be stopped. Tomorrow, the finale of American Idol is on; I might actually watch it, just like last season. The West Wing isn't on tomorrow anyway, I think last week was the season finale. I'm not sure, I taped it but I haven't been able to watch it yet. Do you know what I love about blogs? A person can talk about whatever crosses his or her mind, from the inane to the profound; usually the former. I can write about whatever I want, and who's going to care? Of course, that works both ways; I could write something I'm very proud of, and nobody would be there to read it. I think there is a certain elegance to this system. Most people who write well do so not to attract attention -- anyone can grab a few eyeballs, only a few can garner a real following -- but because they truly care for what they are doing. It is passion that separates the great from the mundane! When it comes to writing, I have no illusions as to which category I fall into, but I don't care; I am having fun. :D Yet, I cannot tell you how many times I have hit the edit button on this post. I am not satisfied with the sentence starting with "Most people who ...". Argh. Time for some Z's.
